Complaining and reactivity are favorite mind patterns through which the ego strengthens itself. For many people, a large part of their mental-emotional activity consists of complaining and reacting against this or that.
By doing this, we make others or a situation "wrong" and ourselves "right."

Through being "right," we feel superior, and through feeling superior,  we strengthen our sense of self.
In reality, of course, we are only strengthening the illusion of ego.

Can we observe those patterns within ourselves and recognize the complaining voice in our head for what it is?
Eckhart Tolle

  1. People complain constantly about all that's wrong in their lives, and never realize that it's complaining that's the problem.

  2. I fully agree with your views Nothingprofound.
