Mind

"We really do not  need anyone to do the talking. We can talk to our own self for hours. 
We talk when we are awake, we talk in our  dreams too.
Constant monologue is happening. Mind is neurotic.
No one has harmed us more than this  mind. 
We do not  know how to become quiet, how to still our mind, how to put an end to this blabbering?
Please share your expert opinion."

  1. The mind is like a gifted child, with great potential and latent power.
    Like a child, it becomes troublesome, if spoiled by a lack of training and discipline.
    But only the mind can train the mind.

    Meditation is the only means I have found, to carry out this training.
    It takes time, and commitment.
    It is both difficult, and simple.
    Boring, yet ecstatic.
    Pointless, yet profoundly rewarding.

    If one succeeds in acquiring an empty mind, the possibilities are endless.
    Until one does, the possibilities are very limited.

    This is neither an opinion, nor an expert one :)

    The mind is a great tool but a terrible master. Eventually it does submit to the soul, the talking stops and experiencing begins.

  3. true...can relate it to what I do more often. In a way I feel relaxed having vented out my feelings to myself...once done...I am able to keep the much needed silence...
