So what is the rush?

"The grass takes its time to grow and spread wide,
the way flowers blossom in lively colors, overnight,
the way tomatoes grow flaming red, and ripe,
the way the consciousness of a caterpillar takes time,
waiting, within the shell of a pupa,
before it is reborn as a beautiful butterfly.
There is time to everything.
But our compulsive mind always thrive to be faster and bigger.
What is the wealth that you keep stockpiling behind your fences?
What is the growth that you seek so bad in your greedy companies,
and what is the speed that you wildly chase in your doings,
to be the number one in everything....
to stand out among so many others?
There is time to everything.
Attune yourself to The Universal Flow, the way the nature does.
And see for yourself.
You do not need brute force to fulfill your destiny.
Effortless action, in perfect timing..
is all you need to Be."

  1. Try telling this to today's generation! Everyone is in a hurry-we don't have time for us or for others.
As someone rightly said, to make money we lose our health, and then to restore our health we lose our money. .
We live as if we are never going to die, and we die as if we never lived . . .
we are part of a crazy world indeed!

  2. Bats land on me, unnoticed.
Unaware, I carry them indoors and they fly around inside the house.
I don't try to catch them to put them outside.
They land on me again, when they are ready.
I walk outside and they fly away.
    This seems wondrous, to me.
I suspect the bats are unaware of my wonder.

  5. I agree with you, everything today is rushed. If we don't slow down we miss ourselves and those around. We should learn to pace ourselves.

  6. Surjit,

This so true. Everyone is in a hurry to unfold, but not to observe the creases in the cloth.

    God bless my friend.
