However deep your
knowledge of the scriptures,
it is no more than a strand of hair
in the vastness of space.
However important appears
your  worldly experience,
it is but a drop of water in a deep ravine.

  1. This reminds me of a few times during childhood when I really scared myself by thinking about the vastness of space. It seemed that I left my body during those episodes and when I came back, I couldn't remember who I was for a few moments.

That drop of water was easy to lose track of!

    Hugs,
    Betty

  4. The single drop of water contains within itself the essence of the whole ocean.
    Small is also large.
    Large is also small.
