Apologizing doesn't mean you will receive a response or forgiveness or even a pat on the back. If I apologize I have to do it with no expectations of getting anything in return. It took me lots of years to understand how many times I an apology is in order. The way I am reading this post is that in a relationship one person must step forward to end controversy or conflict, it almost doesn't matter which person begins. Hopefully, both people place a high regard on the relationship.
TechnoBabe.I agree with your views: ...'If I apologize I have to do it with no expectations of getting anything in ret..' Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Dear Surjitji, Good Morning!I'm back after my holidays. This is a beautiful quote and I did exactly that.I value my friendship and I apologised.it was very difficult, but I WON back the briendship.:) I just don't know,I can relate so well with all quotes of your site. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Sasneham, Anu
Lol :) That made me laugh. I am always apologizing, and am always being misunderstood for doing so. Then again: I am always being misunderstood, no matter what I say. Often though, an apology is seen as a weakness. Leading to another kind of problem to deal with. But I have come to welcome problems for all the hidden treasures they always seem to contain. A life of constant peace may be pleasant, but one doesn't learn a great deal from it.
