Self Doubt

"Indulge not in apprehensions of what evil might happen if things should not go as your worldly wisdom thinks they ought.
Doubt not, for this complexion of doubt pushes back one's progress.
To have cheerful confidence and hope is quite another thing from giving way to the fool's blind optimism:
..the wise man never fights misfortune in advance." (MAHATMA K. H.)

You are right! In this moment I am quite content, full of joy, with money in my bank account. Life is good.

  5. Dear Surjit, you have posted an interesting one touching on a concept so pervasive in our society. Normally I do not touch this concept or what is similar, in my training courses. One of the reasons is that it belongs to the darker side of the endarkenment dimension, where huwmen behaviors can be clouded, and the outcome undesired. In this darkness, there is a voice, much similar to each our own, yet it is not the *I*, thus it is not *self dash(concept)*. Instead the enemy within, the only one, and not a huwman at all. Many think this is us, yet it is not. So, a way I choose to share with others is, self-belief, self-faith, self-believe, self-confidence, and more. Thus, as each experiences light and enlightenment, what is dark, darkness, and endarkenment, begin to automatically disappear. More on this I prefer to elaborate, soon...

  11. Hi Surjit,

Indeed, Self Doubt is a very deadly disease that can really eat up a person confidence and even future.

And Worrying, this very common state that modern man has is indeed fighting misfortune in advance. Conjuring up all kinds of worst case scenerios that very very probably will not happen.

Thanks for this great post of reminder.

    Have a Beautiful Sunday.
