1. "It tells you that everything you do will always leave a Mark.

2. You can always correct the mistake you make.

3. The important thing in life is what you are from inside and not from out side.

4. In life you will undergo painful sharpening which will make you better in whatever you do.

5. Finally, to be the best you can be, you must allow yourself to be held and guided by the hand that holds you.".........(An Internet Message)

  6. Hi Surjit,
    Thanks for this simple lesson.

    Sometimes a simple thing is good enough!.

    I remember somebody shared a a story (not sure whether it is true) that Russian did not spend million of dollars to invent something to write in outer space - they just use pencil!

    Best Wishes

  15. "You can always correct the mistake you make"

    Perhaps it is not so much about correcting the mistake, but more about what insight you gain from making the mistake in the first place and then how you go about using that insight to not repeat it!

    I hope you are having a wonderful day today, Surjit!

    Take care;
    - Anna

  20. Well, all I can say is FANTASTIC lesson from a humble pencil! Although I cannot agree totally with the third point; in case of humans it is not always possible to correct all mistakes.Some mistakes cannot be rectified at all.Pencils are much luckier:)And yes, it is very important to be refined from inside.One can wear a mask, but cannot hide one's inner thoughts.Great job!
