Tranquility

'Tranquility is a state of mind, in which a person, while living in this materialistic world of transient happiness and suffering, is absorbed in devotional meditation within.

In order to achieve it,we have to develop perpetual consciousness of The Divine and full faith in His Grace, adhering to spiritual self-discipline, earning truthful and honest living, accepting in profound calmness... the Will of God.

The foremost perquisite to happy life is 'equipoise' -the inner peace.

The Bliss can be felt and experienced in the deepest of silence."

"The real spiritual progress of the aspirant is measured by the extent to which he achieves inner tranquility"............ (Swami Sivananda)

  8. Do you not think that sometimes God's will for some of us is to fight? I feel inner peace and sometimes my closest connection to God when I am fighting what I see is so unjust. Am I so very wrong? It is a hard battle. Many attack when you choose to stand forward. I pray I am doing God's will. I am so driven surjit...I know it is my destiny and has been so all of my life. I dream of heaven and my time to finally lay down my sword. Why can I not just let it be? This I do not know. But, I do know to do so would be wrong.

Dr Taylor says: I believe that the more time we spend choosing to run the deep inner peace circuitry of our right hemispheres, the more peace we will project into the world, and the more peaceful our planet will be.
