Understanding Existence

"May my soul bloom in love for all existence....."
lll
"A heart full of love, trust, loyalty, compassion is exactly the definition of religious consciousness. Without these qualities,we can never become aware of love, of beauty, splendor of existence and of God.
Existence is known through the heart and not through the head. The heart approaches the existence in deep love, trust. There is no other way to commune with the whole. These qualities, then, transform us slowly and slowly from doubting confusion into an absolute certainty of knowing. They take us out of the chaos of the head into the harmony of the heart."
"Love beauty,it is the shadow of God on the Universe"

  5. Surjit, your post are quite close to the Bible verses in Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

All Christians are to bear the Fruit of the Spirit. If one were to take note carefully, the fruit of the spirit is singular instead of plural. Thus, until a Christian have all those attributes mentioned, one still haven't attain it.

May God grant us better understanding in our existence

Surjit, Thank you for this post!

  6. Thanks for this, Surjit. It reminds me to focus on my heart centre instead of my head! I wish to feel love and compassion but so often the hurt and anger I seem to have inside me get in the way. But if I focus on my heart instead of my head, these unpleasant feelings are absent. Perhaps, indeed, this is the way...

  7. Hi Surjit...

    Very nice!

I'm still working on the doubting vs certainty but then again maybe life is for figuring that out? :-)

You are inspiring and filled with such grace!

    Thank you...

    Jen

  8. Surjit - your post is so true - it seems that many in the world today - including myself at times - are living their lives with their head.Unfortunately it shows in the chaos all around us. I am making it a point to live more through my heart, and I am trying to surround myself with others who do the same...thanks for the reminder
