Being Grateful

"If there is a day you have eaten until

you were full;

if there is a time of joy you can recall;

if you have escaped even once the

clutches of death;

if you can remember one or all of the above,

then you have something to be grateful for."

  10. Surjit,

    You are right! We must constantly remind ourselves to be grateful always.

    When we wake up in the morning, we are given another twenty-four hours -- the most precious possessions.

    Well, no matter how low we feel at times, if we count your blessings, we'll always find many.

    Let us remember to count our blessings

  15. You are so right surjit! If you woke up this morning then you have something to grateful for. Every moment of every day offers gifts. Gifts that we often take for granted as if they are our right to receive them. When in fact we are truly blessed with each gift and should remember to be grateful for each!

  21. A lovely reminder, Surjit.
    In times of abundance, it's easy to forget the seemingly little things that we should be thankful for--waking up alive and well each morning, the little everyday things that make us smile. To appreciate small daily blessings is to appreciate life.
