".......................SO SHALL YOU REAP"

"We all know with absolute certainty that what we sow or plant in the soil will come back to us in the same kind.It is not possible that if we sow corn and get the crop of wheat.

Then on what principle can we expect a crop of happiness and contentment when, for years, we have been sowing the seeds of thoughts of exactly the opposite character. We sow worry thoughts, fear thoughts, anxious and doubt thoughts
and then wonder why we are not in harmony and happy.

But if we sow the thoughts of abundance, of plenty, of trust, and compassion,we shall reap accordingly. We are simply reaping today what we sowed yesterday. The only way to get a different harvest tomorrow is to sow differently today."

"Thought is another name for fate,

Choose then, thy destiny, and wait

For love brings love and hate brings hate."

  5. This is something that many of us must do consciously every day - when we have made habits of thinking and living in fear and doubt.
I find that when I concentrate on what I want to give to the world, everything adjusts in like...

  7. Surjit, this is so true. So many people should stop and think this through... life would be so much healthier if we would all stop to sow worry, fears and doubts... we should sow love, happiness, joy and laughter. Thank you for this post.

I completely agree with harvesting positive thoughts so we could emanate positive energy around ourself and around the peeole we meet daily...it is only a matter of believing and acting on it.

  13. Hi Surjit...

    Always such insightful thoughts!

I believe often we allow our thoughts to exist without our consciousness realizing what we are thinking about... we sort of let those seeds get planted without even realizing what it is we are planting... ya know?

I think the more we consciously decide what seeeds we want to sow the more we will bring into the world that which we envision!

    I appreciate you so much,

    jen

  14. Yes Jennifer, you are right. The need on our part is to be always aware of our thoughts emnating from our minds. The moment any adverse thought emerge,we should rebuff it.Thanks for sharing your experienced views.Best wishes.

  15. What you say is very true. So often though we waste our seed. When a farmer sows he expects a harvest of whatever he has sown. I think as we sow kindness, compassion, and giving etc., we should be like the farmer and have an expectation that we will reap a harvest in kind sometime in the future. Maybe because we do not expect it we do not see it when it comes, after all the seed does not look like the fruit does it.
