Understanding Life

"The first forty years of life give us the text and next thirty years supply the commentry on it.

After 50, we feel for our own strengths, weaknesses and our own fate and do not blame God,

spouse, parents or even society. We accept ourselves.WE ARRIVE."

  4. Exceptions are always there,Thulasi.Different writers, thinkers, philosophers have put in their views according the life they lived or experienced. We have to 'gather' wisdom and put to practice for better living. Thanks for nice views and good luck.

  5. It seems that in the West, youth is valued about all else. I think of the time when wisdom, experience, and the care that comes with age was more important. I hope we can value age and bring the wisdom of those who have lived life into our experience. :-)

  6. There is lot to be said for aging! What amazes me is looking back to when I was 12 and clearly remembering how I thought I knew it all! I was just a baby. I knew nothing! With each decade I'm amazed at what I have learned! What amazes me even more is knowing that God willing I still have much to learn here!

  10. I have a different but also similiar view. I believe my website may be interesting for you, in my discovery of life. I do not believe that at a certain age one can fully accept themselves, most/many cannot accept themselves not even upon their death beds. We as human beings constantly with hold information about ourselves thus it is the reason why memories can and are distorted. Who's to say what actually has happen in your past when there are different variations to the "truth" of what these individuals percieve. Perception of one selves and our true selves are two different but yet the same thing.
