  1. Yes - I have been taught that abundance will come when we lose our attachment to things. We can have whatever we want - when we know that we do not need it to be happy.

  4. Knowing and understanding in this case are two different things. Knowing the secret is to appreciate what you have is different from understanding this supposibly secrete. We have made this world what it is today, How is it you choose to live it is the answer to your happiness or saddness.

  5. Thank you for reminding me that the abundance in my life is up to me- it's already here, if I choose to see it.

  6. Thanks, Surjit! I think there is also a lot in what truewurdz says. I understand this truth about abundance. But to experience it, I need to truly *know* it, from moment to moment, the same as I know I need air to breathe. I am understanding more and more all the time - but I still know so little!

  7. This is truly inspiring.
Abundance comes to us when we abandon every thing. Like a monk do. Think if we were told to evacuate from the premises, how many truck loads we have to carry. A monk will only have his begging bowl with him. He is content and happy living with the nature and not manipulating nature. He has nothing, but there is every thing enough for him.
