Suffering

"Suffering is the price of being alive.
It requires more courage to suffer than to die.
Wisdom comes only through suffering.
To become spectator of one`s own life...
is to escape the suffering of life."

  9. Indeed! I like a similar quote by quite a famous figure in Singapore that goes,"Suffering and deprivation is good for the Soul!"

  13. Loved the line: "Suffering is the price of being alive." How true! Life is indeed not a bed of roses. No matter how much try to be strong, suffering is something that shatters us into pieces...no doubt wisdom comes with it and we learn to gather ourselves once again as time moves on...but an incompleteness still remains...that's life i suppose

  15. For long years of my life, I have been what we can call “a silent child”. And being like that, suffering in silence has teach me a lot of things. Because being a silent person, does not mean that we are not aware of all that is happening around us, and with this I mean, aware of the seen and unseen. Suffering is need, but we can choose to accept to deal with suffering in silence, or, as others do, we can pass all the time complaining of suffering.

Accepting the suffering helps, if we believe that nothing comes by chance in to our life, so why complaining instead of accept and learn with suffer, that has so much to teach us!?

To achieve the balance in life, is to accept what we call the good and bad things of life. If smile is need, also cry is need. Because, all make of life what it is. And living, is to be able to deal with the situations that makes us cry, and the ones that makes us smile, accepting both.

Thanks for the comment you left in my blog. It is for me an honor. Thank you Surjit!

    Namasté!

  17. Peace my bro. and friend! A very inspiring post. It came at a time when my people are suffering from the onslaught of many typhoons.

Suffering if i may add brings the strongest qualities of our soul to life....a catalyst to our faith...a chance to love our other self.

As grains must be ground to make bread....keep shining my friend surjit be a light in darkness. God be with you always.
